  Panda Express is the quintessential fast food Chinese. As long as your expectations are tempered and measured you will not be disappointed.
  
  We went here when it was only a week open and to us, it was just fine. Okay, it was good. It was not bad, we got exactly what we thought we would for twenty bucks.
  
  I can't express enough that it is literally the fast food of Chinese. And that's not an insult. If you want something quick and fast but not a burger or something sliding between two pieces of bread, Panda Express can hit that void.
  
  Their customer service is a work in progress but that's okay and understandable for a new place.
  
  You really can't outdo getting 2 combo meals and rice for about 9 bucks.
  
  It's definitely the kind of place I will go back to if I'm not wanting to break my bank account and I don't want to settle for a burger.

  You know, way back in the day Panda Express was pretty good. You could count on a hot and decent meal for a decent price. Now, it's just not great. My go-to and really how I judged Chinese food is low mein/chow mein (whatever they call their noodle dish). Panda Express' version is so sad. It has no flavor whatsoever and is bland and dry. Every time.
  
  Orange Chicken is usually ok. They look like they would have some great dishes, but again, they are usually lacking in flavor. Why? Also, the rice is dry and not a rice that should be used for Chinese food. Chinese food should use Jasmine rice, not whatever long-grain, cheap rice they can get. Jasmine rice should be the basic rice to use. Always!
  
  There aren't a lot of great Chinese food options in town, but most places are at least better than Panda Express.

  Do yourself a favor and drive a mile down the road and get great Chinese at Formosa for about the same price. While it's quick with many selections, the food is bland and over seasoned. The staff is not friendly and almost seem put off that you're actually there to eat. The floor near the soda machine was beyond sticky, but shoe was stuck to the floor. I see no reason to ever return to this restaurant. Such a disappointment.

  You get what you pay for, and in this case a bit less. ambiance is nice and they have a drive thru. Service is generally fast and food is hot but the overall taste is what you'd expect for fast food Chinese food. On the plus side, they have cherry coke on the fountain.

  My hubby went to a Panda Express in CA and really liked  it so we tried the new one next to Aubrey's.  All I can say is I wish we went to Aubrey's. Had never been to either but this Panda was nothing like he remembered. The entrees were mediocre at best and not inexpensive either.  Needless to say, no comment on the service...the orange chicken was ok but the fried rice didn't seem fresh. I also love Kung pao chicken and it wasn't spicy with little chicken.  Just not impressed but wish them luck since they're new.
